Dr Peter Mbizvo is a medical practitioner and owns surgeries in Harare and Bindura. He was engaged in a medical advisory capacity for several companies and organizations in Zimbabwe between 2010 and 2012. Dr Mbizvo is also a board member of Bindura University of Science and Technology and the Joshua Nkomo Scholarship Fund. Previously, he was the Country Manager Zimbabwe for Africa Invest, a Swedish private equity fund. Prior to joining private practice in 1991, Dr Mbizvo was employed as a senior medical officer in the Zimbabwe Defence Forces. He holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Edinburgh University, Scotland, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Zimbabwe.
Sheilla joined Econet Wireless Zimbabwe in July 2003 as General Counsel, a position which she holds to date. Previously she worked in a similar capacity for ExxonMobil (Southern Africa Cluster) and the University of Zimbabwe. She has also held positions in the Ministry of Justice, leaving as a Senior Magistrate. She holds an MBA from Nottingham Trent University, UK, Bachelor of Law (Hons) Degree and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe.
Innocent joined Econet Wireless Zimbabwe in November, 2012. He has over 20 years’ of management experience at senior, executive and board levels in the public sector and listed international organisations. He has vast regional experience gained from various human resources and management consulting roles in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Kenya. Innocent holds an MBA from University of Wollongong, Australia, a BSc Honours Degree from University of Zimbabwe, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Institute of Marketing Management, South Africa, and a Diploma in Training Management from the Institute of Personnel Management, Zimbabwe.
Chengeto is Chief Finance Officer at Econet Wireless (Private) Limited. He has over fifteen years’ experience in the field of finance and management. His experience spans auditing, financial services, mining, tourism/hospitality and retailing. Apart from providing leadership in the normal financial role, he has been involved in quality corporate finance assignments that encompass capital raising, project finance and acquisition. He has a practical working knowledge of IT strategy formulation and implementation, having spearheaded computerization projects for a number of companies. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA Zim) from Deloitte & Touche and holds a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) from UNISA, South Africa, and a Bachelor in Accountancy (Hons) from the University of Zimbabwe.
Hazel Banza is an Insurance Practitioner, having worked in the insurance industry for over 10 years in various capacities which included Underwriting Manager and, Business Development Manager with the then CGU, now RM Insurance Company. She joined Trustfin (Pvt) Limited as Premium Finance Manager in 2000 and was responsible for setting up that division which grew to be a leader in the provision of Premium Finance. She was promoted to the position of Senior Manager within the lending Division, a position she held until the incorporation of Trustfin into the TN Financial Holdings Group in 2007. Hazel was appointed Senior Manager-Marketing and was involved in the setting up of the then TN Medical Benefit Funds and its subsequent launch onto the market.
